At senior athletic awards events on Sunday, May 17, both West Bend East and West Bend West Athletic Departments gave out major awards.

Taylor Ripplinger, head varsity coach of the West football team, received the Prudence Pick Hway Coach of the Year Award due to his character and accomplishments during the previous school year.

Green Tree Elementary is the newest Early Learning Program site.

Head Start provider
The West Bend School District is the Head Start provider for all of Washington County.

Head Start locations
Beginning in fall 2026, families can access the program at Green Tree Elementary, YMCA – West Washington, and the Jackson Community Center.

Beginning with the 2026-2027, all Early Learning sites will offer wraparound care.
