About 4K

The West Bend School District community-based 4K program is an optional, high-quality program offered at no cost to families who live in the West Bend School District attendance area. There is a material fee for the 4K program with the amount to be determined by the West Bend School Board. The WBSD community-based 4K program will be taught by certified teachers and promote early reading and math skills, language development, and social growth to help prepare all children for success.

Who We Are

Our 4K program strives to provide an exemplary education that challenges students to grow into lifelong learners, responsible adults, and individuals who achieve their goals and dreams. In collaboration with parents and the community, and within a safe and nurturing environment, we are committed to offering engaging, inquiry-based, and play-centered experiences for all four-year-olds to promote each child's success.

To be eligible for 4K, a child must be 4-years-old on or before September 1 of the year the child will enter school.
